How Eltrove works in 60 seconds

Eltrove is a managed trading service. You sign in, subscribe, connect a brokerage account by pasting two API keys, and the system trades on your behalf, fully automated, fully visible.

There's no software to install, nothing to keep running on your computer. The forecasting models, execution engine, and dashboard all live on Eltrove's servers. Your only job is to watch the dashboard, adjust risk settings if you want, and let it run.

Your money never moves to us. Eltrove only sends orders through your existing brokerage using API keys you provide. You can revoke those keys at any time, from either side, and the system disconnects immediately.

The end-to-end flow

01

Create an Eltrove account with your email at eltrove.com/auth. We send a magic link; no password required.

02

Subscribe

Pick a plan. Card upfront via Stripe Checkout. 30-day money-back guarantee on the first charge.

03

Connect your broker

From your portal, paste an Alpaca or Interactive Brokers API key + secret. We verify the keys work, encrypt them, and never display them again.

04

Eltrove starts trading

Within a cycle (~5 minutes), the system begins scanning, forecasting, sizing, and placing orders. The dashboard goes live the moment your first signal fires.

05

You watch + tune

Check the dashboard whenever you want. Pause, liquidate, exclude symbols, dial risk up or down. The system follows your rules, not the other way around.

Getting an Alpaca API key (recommended for new users)

Alpaca is a US-only brokerage with a clean API and zero commissions. Free to open. We recommend starting in paper mode to watch the system before risking real money.

01

Open an Alpaca account

Go to alpaca.markets and sign up. Paper accounts are instant. A live account takes a few business days for ID + funding.

02

Switch to Paper Trading

In the Alpaca dashboard, use the toggle in the top-right to select Paper Trading. (You can come back and connect Live later.)

03

Generate API keys

Left sidebar → Your API KeysGenerate New Key. Alpaca will show you a Key ID and a Secret Key. Copy both immediately: the secret is shown only once.

04

Paste into Eltrove

In your Eltrove portal, click Connect Broker, choose Alpaca + Paper, and paste both values. We test-call Alpaca with the keys; if they're valid, you're connected.

05

Going live later

Once you've watched paper for a few weeks and you're comfortable, repeat the same steps from Alpaca's Live tab, fund the account, and swap the keys in Eltrove. The system will pick up the new account on the next cycle.

Don't email or message your keys to anyone, including us. They go directly from the Alpaca screen into the Eltrove portal form, over HTTPS. If you ever suspect a key was exposed, revoke it from Alpaca's "Your API Keys" page and generate a new one.

Getting an Interactive Brokers connection

Interactive Brokers (IBKR) offers global markets, options, and lower margin rates than most retail brokers. Setup is slightly more involved than Alpaca but worth it for serious accounts.

Common questions

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Everything happens in the browser. The only "technical" step is copying two API keys from your broker into your Eltrove portal.

What happens if my subscription lapses?

Trading halts. Open positions are left alone; we never liquidate without your action. Resume billing to resume trading.

Can I run Eltrove on a small account?

Yes. Position sizing scales with equity. For accounts under $25k we route through the Tradier cash account integration to avoid pattern-day-trader restrictions.

How do I get help?
